Orna: A Geo-RPG is—well, as you might expect from the name—an RPG that blends RPG-like elements (specifically turn-based combat and retro vibes) with another hot and about: geotagging + AR.
When starting in Orna: A Geo-RPG, your character begins like any other RPG hero. First, you choose between several castes, then your hero becomes a fighter, mystic, or rogue, and you can equip them with a range of specialized skills and gear to match their pretend occupation. For instance, warriors come packing with weapons that sages do not get, and so on.
The third area where Orna: A Geo-RPG diverges from the genre formula is the game’s development. Instead of crawling your way through dungeons shown on your phone, you’ll be out and about in the physical world of your city—kind of like PokemonGO or Ingress. The only significant difference here is that instead of snapping portals or cute little Pokémon, you’ll be battling the forces of darkness against evil night creatures.
When fighting monsters, you are taking your turn making strategic moves. When a new battle initiates, you select to attack, defend, use an item, or flee. Naturally, winning fights means earning experience points that will level you up, and more upgrades to your character’s skills and armor are about to reveal themselves.
Orna: A Geo-RPG is a unique RPG that is very entertaining, and it provides you with a gaming experience found somewhere in between PokemonGO and your everyday RPG. Be it a skein of hi-def real estate, geolocated implements, or loads and loads of secrets, it all comes together for an off-the-walls, dungeon-filling epic.
